Lichfield City FC suffered a day to forget as they fell to their first league defeat of the season.
Dave Langston’s early-season pace-setters were rocked as Coventry Copsewood scored three goals through David Akinuli, Jack Downes and sub Ross Winbush to record a 3-0 triumph.
The win was Coventry’s first of the season, but Lichfield will be desperate to get their season back on track when they entertain Pershore Town next weekend (September 17).
