Lichfield City FC suffered a second defeat in a week as they went down at Atherstone Town.
They fell behind in the 26th minute when Mitch Thompson scored from the penalty spot.
But Lichfield were soon back level when Wes Streete netted on the half-hour mark.
Jonathan Gould put the home side in front once more just before the break.
City’s misery was compounded in the second half with an own goal and a strike from Liam Kirton secured the 4-1 victory for Atherstone.
Lichfield will look to prevent a third loss on the bounce when they travel to Hinckley on Wednesday (May 2).
