Lichfield City FC warmed up for the new season with a friendly win over Bilborough Town.
The game was sealed in the first half as a Craig Marshall hat-trick and a goal from Luke Chapman put them four goals to the good at the interval.
The hosts bagged a consolation in the second half, but City boss Dave Langston will be delighted to see his squad head into the season opener next weekend on a high.
Lichfield’s Midland Football League Division One campaign begins at Heath Hayes on Saturday (August 5), kick-off 3pm.
