LICHFIELD City’s push for the play-offs will face a tough test this weekend as they welcome league leaders Carlton Town.
Ivor Green’s men go into the fixture tomorrow (4th April) on the back of four straight wins which has seen them move within five points of the all-important fifth spot.
But Carlton have seen their lead at the summit reduced to just two points after three defeats on the bounce.
City will be desperate to repeat their endeavours in the reverse fixture in August which saw an early Luke Childs strike earn them a 1-0 win.
Kick-off at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium is at 3pm.
