LICHFIELD City Ladies saw their Women’s Challenge Cup hopes dashed at the hands of a clinical Port Vale side.
The Trade Tyre Community Stadium side found themselves on the wrong end of a 5-1 scoreline against their higher division opponents.
City will now turn their attention to league matters again next weekend when they welcome local rivals Tamworth on Sunday (24th November).
