LICHFIELD City Women will face a title shootout under the lights in their final fixture of the season.
They head to the Bescot Stadium tomorrow (17th April) to face championship rivals Walsall.
City currently sit five points ahead of the Saddlers.
For Lichfield to be denied the West Midlands Regional League Division One North title, Walsall must win their two remaining fixtures, meaning City know a point in the clash would see them bring the trophy back to the Trade Tyre Community Stadium.
However, a defeat would mean a nervous wait for the outcome of Walsall’s final league game of the season at Newcastle Town on 26th April
Goals from Courtney Dilger and Skye Lakin-Wright secured a 2-0 win over the Saddlers in the reverse fixture last month.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
