Chase Stags Girls U14 1 Lichfield Diamonds U14 9: A hat-trick from Caitlin Harper gave Lichfield the perfect platform for a comfortable victory.
Captain Georgia Bradley and Jose Balla were also on the scoresheet, netting a brace each, while Lucy Whieldon and Catherine Knight also found the target before the Stags hit a well-deserved late consolation goal.
Wyrley Girls U13 2 Lichfield Diamonds U13 5: After last week’s disappointment the girls were looking to bounce back against a side that last season held them to two draws.
That outcome never looked like being repeated as Diamonds ripped into Wyrley from the off.
Cartwright opened the scoring with a sweet finish and Meehan doubled the lead with a solo goal.
The home side then got back into it when some sloppy defending allowed them to make it 2-1.
Any chance of a comeback was soon dashed in the second half when Gardener bundled the ball into the net after some fine work from Alana Hodges.
Cartwright doubled her tally before Hodges got her deserved goal.
Wyrley had the final say when again poor defending allowed them to score.

Lichfield Diamonds U12 3 Chellaston Girls U12 1: Diamonds conceded their first goal of the season but still maintained their unbeaten run to stretch their lead at the top of the league.
Lichfield’s goals came from Steph Speck, Rosie Mason-Green and Jodi Whorton-Eagles.
Lichfield Diamonds U11 1 Hilton Harriers 2: Diamonds started very slowly and after some poor defensive work found themselves 2-0 down at half time.
Niamh Bowdler created a good chance for herself but couldn’t find the net.
Some bright play from Molly Matthews in the second half saw some passing return to the Diamonds side which forced a corner for the home team. A shot from Matthews from the corner found its way in for a consolation in a game in which Diamonds never seemed to get out of first gear.
Wyrley Panthers 2 Lichfield Diamonds U10 10: Diamonds travelled to third-placed Wyrley expecting a tough test and they got just that in the opening period.
The Lichfield side were well below par in the first half, especially across the midfield area.
But Diamonds huffed and puffed and eventually took the lead through Natalia Edwards.
The scores were soon level as a long ball through the middle caught Diamonds out.
Lichfield ripped up the gameplan by switching things around and gave themselves more composure and quality on the ball – a move that quickly brought a goal for Mae Murphy.
But Panthers levelled once more after some poor marking.
The half time team talk had the desired effect as three passes straight from the kick off put captain Charlotte Jarvis through to score and within minutes she had completed her hat-trick to put the game out of Wyrley’s reach.
Edwards added another with Elizabeth Palmer adding two more after setting up many of her side’s goals.
Jarvis ended a good second half performance by taking her personal tally to five.
