The runners and riders for this year’s local elections have been released.
The contest across Lichfield and Burntwood is likely to be more keenly contested than ever before as the number of councillors has been reduced by nine.
This means that Lichfield District Council will see two fewer in Lichfield, three less in Burntwood and four across rural areas.
