ASP Boatman’s Rest took advantage of Rushall’s weekend off to move into top spot with a narrow 3-2 win over Burntwood St Matthews.
Erdington Star kept up the pressure in the Lichfield & District Football League Direct Sports Premier Division as they went second after their 4-1 win at Walsall Wood Boatmans.
Rushall were not in action after their opponents, Windmill, withdrew from the league.
The biggest win of the day came in Maude Sports Division Two when Vic Chase Terrace travelled to Dosthill Rangers and came away with an emphatic 12-1 victory.
