LICHFIELD failed to make it back-to-back league wins after a three-wicket defeat against leaders Wightwick and Finchfield.
The city men opted to bat first after winning the toss, making a steady start with Adam Braddock hitting 32 before being caught off the bowling of George Davis.
Fellow opener Oliver Caddick also made 32 prior to his wicket being taken by Ryan Heaney to leave Lichfield on 112-2.
The scoring was steady with Ihsaan Nadeem's 79 off 104 balls helping the scoreboard reach 221-8 by the end of their 50 overs.
The reply saw the league leaders lose the wicket of Lewis Hughes with the score on 31 before John Tabner followed him back to the pavilion to leave Wightwick and Finchfield on 42-2.
When Edward Turner caught and bowled Jim Stack to make it 77-3 things looked to be swinging in Lichfield's favour.
Momentum continued to go with the home side's bowlers as quick wickets saw the visitors reduced to 129-6.
But Raees Carr proved to be a thorn in the side of Lichfield as he hit an unbeaten 125 from 94 balls to help his side pass the total with three wickets in hand.
Turner was the pick of the Lichfield bowlers with figures of 3-45.
