Award-winning musical American Idiot is coming to the stage in Lichfield.
Based on Green Day’s multi-platinum album, the show will be performed by the Lichfield Garrick Youth Theatre from March 29 to April 2.
A spokesperson said: “When three disgruntled men flee the constraints of their hometown for the thrills of city life, their paths are quickly estranged.
“One enters the armed forces, another is called back home and the other is divided by a seductive love interest and a hazardous new friendship.
“An energy-fuelled rock opera, American Idiot features little dialogue and instead relies on the lyrics of Green Day’s groundbreaking album to execute the storyline.”
