Would-be racers are being given the chance to race wheel to wheel and raise money for charity at a fundraising event in Lichfield.
Fradley-based Midland Karting will host the event in conjunction with Kerrang Radio on October 29 in aid of Cash for Kids.
As well as the kart racing, there will also be stalls selling a range of goods throughout the day, which starts at 2pm. Live bands chosen by the presenters at Kerrang will be playing throughout the evening and the day concludes with a firework display.
Organiser Garry Mitchell said:
“We’d like to hear from any business or group who would like to make up a team for our endurance events. Prices per team start at £96 for teams of up to three for the first 90 minute race or £150 for the two hour endurance event for four to six competitors. We’re hoping that we will be able to raise a bumper sum for Cash for Kids.”
