A Lichfield man has been arrested on a drugs offence.
The 33-year-old was held after police visited a house on Friday Acre this morning (April 16).
Cannabis was seized during the raid and he has been arrested on suspicion of possessing the drug with intent to supply. He was interviewed in custody before being released on police bail pending further inquiries.
PC Simon Lawrence said: “Today’s pre-planned activity was carried out as part of Operation Nemesis, Staffordshire Police’s ongoing crackdown on drug supply.
“We’re determined to stop drug dealers in their tracks and work with partners across the district to prevent and tackle drug misuse and its effects.
