A Lichfield nursing home was evacuated following a fire today.
The fire broke out in the laundry room where it was successfully contained.
Four fire appliances and several ambulance crews attended the incident. So far there are no reports of injury to residents or staff.
Police closed off one side of St John Street while fire crews and paramedics attended the incident.
