A new show has just blown in to the Lichfield Garrick from the Windy City!
Lichfield Operatic Society’s performance of Calamity Jane comes to the city’s theatre from April 24 to 28.
Featuring tunes such as Deadwood Stage, Windy City, Black Hills of Dakota and Secret Love, the show is one of the classic musicals.
“Both the flavour of early frontier life and the vivacity of the show’s characters are there in Paul Francis Webster’s inventive lyrics,” a spokesperson said.
“With its feisty, buckskin-clad heroine and its lively, vivid Wild West background, it is a musical not to be missed.”
