The Lichfield Players are bringing Wedding of the Year to the Garrick stage.
The Studio performance tells the tale of Alison Murchinson who is an unusual entrant in a competition to find the perfect wedding after he Uncle Frank selects a designer to create a wedding dress for her – even before he has found her a suitable husband.
A spokesperson added: “But then his eye falls on Walter Thornton’s son, Melvyn, a frustrated inventor and an appallingly clumsy young man. However, as they say, the best-laid plans…”
