The efforts of James Roberts and Mark Davey on October 18 will help raise money for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

James said: “It is quite a debilitating heart condition which has significantly affected my family. My dad died of the condition in 2004 and my mum is currently suffering from it as well.”

The pair will also undertake their challenge to compete in the seven matches across the region as part of World Squash Day.

“We have received great support from the squash community,” said James, who is also chairman of Lichfield Squash Club.

People can support their efforts via a JustGiving page.
