A Lichfield woman is continuing her fundraising efforts for organ donation charities with a Christmas fayre in the city.
Rachel Prosser had a life-saving lung transplant last year, but has kept up her efforts to support charities close to her heart.
And the Live Life Then Give Life event on November 30 will be the latest part of her efforts to raise money – and awareness.
“I was lucky to receive a Lung transplant in May 2012 after waiting eight months for my call to come,” she said. “But not everyone is as fortunate.
“One in three of those on the transplant list die while waiting and that is why we want to help to raise as much awareness as possible and change this horrible statistic.”
The Christmas fayre, which runs from noon to 5pm at Saxon Hill School will feature a live nativity and the chance to meet Santa.
There will also be plenty of stalls for people to bag a festive goodie or two.
