Local talent will take centre stage with a double header of live music at the Lichfield Guildhall.
Lichfield Arts welcome Chloe & the Tomcats and Stray Dog at the venue on December 2.
With soulful jazzy vocals from Chloe Smith and acoustic arrangements inspired by an eclectic taste in music from the band, Chloe and the Tomcats saw their EP Make No Mistake picked up by BBC Introducing West Midlands and songs from it were played on a live broadcast.
Since performing for the first time two years ago, Stray Dog have been treating local audiences to their own interpretations of rock and blues classics.
The unique trio of secondary school teachers is made up of Ian Henderson (bass, vocals), Pete Morgan (drums, vocals) and Warren Scott (guitar, vocals) and they have become firm favourites while gigging in and around the Midlands.
Lichfield Arts Director Chris Newcombe said: “This concert brings together two generations of wonderful local talent, two very different bands who are both very popular in Lichfield.
“Coming hot on the heals after the success of the Tom Woodman Band, this concert showcases what a wealth of talent Lichfield has to offer. Come along and join in the fun!”
