Lichfield and Burntwood’s MP has promised to do “what is right for the constituency” if he is re-elected.

Michael Fabricant was re-selected as a candidate for the 2015 General Election at a meeting of the Lichfield Constituency Conservative Association.
And the long-standing MP says he hopes to continue repaying the faith shown to him by local voters.
“I am genuinely honoured to be asked to stand for the Conservative Party in the Lichfield Constituency in the 2015 General Election,” he said. “It is a wonderful constituency which has shown huge faith in me over the years both in good times and in bad.
“We’ve bucked the trend when other constituencies have not supported their Conservative MP at election time.
“As ever, I shall do what is right for the country but, above all, what is right for my Lichfield constituency which, of course, not only includes the City of Lichfield but Burntwood and all the outlying villages too.”
