Musicians from across the region have visited Lichfield to take part in an acoustic challenge.
The Bowling Green is hosting the week long contest, culminating in a final from 9pm to 11pm on Saturday (December 6).

The winning act will walk away with a £500 prize.
Organiser Kyle Perry – who is also behind the Lichfield Rocks festival – said the acoustic sessions gave talented musicians the chance to showcase their abilities in intimate surroundings.
“This is a unique event for Lichfield and brings some of the biggest rising stars in the Midlands music scene to The Bowling Green. It’s a free event and puts the audience completely in control of the lineup for the final with the winner walking away with £500.
“It’s a great bit of fun but more importantly, like Lichfield Rocks, this could become a regular fixture in the Midlands’ music calendar.”
The likes of Beth Ayres, Sophi Vassal, Charlotte Upson, Brains for Breakfast, Ingrid Schwartz, Ben Stancombe, Klasside, Mike Moloney, Alex Voss and Mr George’s Famous Last Words are among the acts taking part.
