A charity afternoon tea is taking place in Barton-under-Needwood.
The event on September 20 is being organised by the Needwood Friends group in aid of St Giles Hospice.
The event follows a recent open garden event which raised £1,145 as well as a raffle which brought in £430.
The afternoon tea will take place at the Catholic Church Hall on Wales Lane from 3pm to 5pm. It costs £3.50 for tea, sandwiches and cake and people can turn up on the day.
