A NEW era will begin at Lichfield City as they kick off their pre-season campaign this weekend.

Supporters at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium will see a raft of new faces when they take on Tamworth on Saturday (4th July).

City have rung the changes after new manager Matty Lovatt's arrival following the departure of Ivor Green in the summer.

A number of familiar faces have departed after a division move saw the club facing longer away days next season.

But Lovatt will hope his new additions alongside familiar faces such as Dan Lomas, Luke Childs, Tom Brown and Jamie Elkes will allow Lichfield to continue the form which saw them enjoy a strong first season at step four.

Kick-off against Tamworth tomorrow is at 3pm.
