Faroe Born – based at Heart of the Country at Swinfen – is the first outlet in the UK to sell Sirri Wool products.

The family-owned firm imports garments such as jumpers and coats using traditional Faroese techniques using organic, dye-free wool, which is naturally water resistant and wind proof while remaining soft, warm and dry.

And the company has appointed Lichfield PR consultancy Townhouse Communications to help promote the new business, which will also retail online.

Ian Bourne, managing director of Faroe Born, said: “Townhouse were recommended to me and I was impressed with not only their creativity, but their focus and finally passion for my business.

“I’m looking forward to working with them.”
