A NEW Lichfield primary school has appointed its first ever headteacher.
Jane Jane will take on the role with Greywood Primary Academy, which is due to open in September 2026.
She is currently the deputy headteacher at Henry Chadwick Primary School.
Mrs Jane said she was looking forward to taking on the role with the Primitas Learning Partnership school.
“I’m incredibly proud and honoured to be the first headteacher of Greywood Primary Academy and I cannot wait to start building strong relationships with our children, their parents and the wider community to create a school we can all be proud of.
“I’m determined to make sure that our state-of-the-art building will not only house a fantastic school, but will also become a vibrant hub that serves and celebrates our wonderful local community in meaningful and life-affirming ways.”
