New running course for beginners set to start in Lichfield

Published:

A new running course for beginners is set to start in Lichfield.

The six sessions begin on September 28 and are being organised by Lichfield Running Club.

A spokesperson said:

“If you are currently able to jog or run approximately three miles and think you’d like to take your running further but don’t think you’d be fast enough to join a club, or simply want to run with like minded people, then come along to Lichfield Running Club for a free, no obligation to join, six week beginners running session.”

During the sessions, runners will be taken through specifically tailored training which will help participants build speed, distance and stamina.

The group will meet at King Edward VI Leisure Centre at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. For more information call Julia Woodward on 07971 805468 or Alan Pritchard on 07954 995799 or email running@lichfield-running-club.co.uk.

All runners must be aged 18 or over.
