Burntwood RUFC climbed another place in Midlands 3 West North – without taking the field!
Their opponents Cleobury Mortimer couldn’t raise a full side to travel to The Sportsway and so Ian Jones’s side were awarded a five point home walkover to take them to fifth in the table.
This Saturday (March 23) the First XV face a stiff test at home to Stourbridge Lions who retained their Midlands Senior Vase title by beating Old Leamintonians 10-3, leaving them only one match away from Twickenham. They host Selby in the National semi-final on Easter Saturday. Burntwood 2nds visit Lichfield 3rds this Saturday – all fixtures kick off at 3pm.
