A Lichfield racing driver is celebrating after securing success at in the VLN5 Endurance Series at the Nurburgring.
Adam Christodoulou joined Black Falcon team-mates Hubert Haupt, Manuel Metzger and Gabriele Piana on the top step of the podium.
Christodoulou got the team off to a strong start by opening up an early lead in a double stint – and his team-mates continued to dominate as they ended up securing victory by two minutes.
“It’s amazing to be on the top step, it’s a great feeling,” he said. “The race was super exciting – the Nurburgring is one of my favourite tracks but it’s always a mighty challenge in itself and the competition in the VLN is always top class.”
Christodoulou’s next event is The Barcelona 24 hours on the September 8 and 9 with Prosport Performance.
