BOSSES of a new Burntwood supermarket have confirmed it will open later this month.
The Lidl store will welcome its first customers on 22nd January.
The ribbon will be cut by pupils from Chase Terrace Primary School at 8am.
The opening event will also feature food samples and special prizes on offer.
Joe Caunt, regional head of property for Lidl GB, said:
“We’re delighted to open the doors to our new store in Burntwood.
“Thank you to everyone who has played a part in helping to make this store a reality. It’s always an exciting moment when we’re finally able to see our plans come to life and make a difference to local communities.”
The new store will be open from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
The outlet will feature an in-store bakery as well as facilities such as baby-changing stations and free parking.
