The Out and About orienteering challenge – on July 24 and 28 between 1pm and 3pm – is aimed at youngsters between the ages of six and 14.

The adventurous trail will see them following clues that will take them scrambling through bushes and running under bridges.

Ranger Ellen Williams said: “Completing an orienteering challenge is not only great fun, it also develops important skills. So, if your children need to burn off some energy this July, bring them to Chasewater Country Park to take part in an outdoor activity.”

It costs £2 per child to go on the trail, which are available from the boat shed. There is no need to book, just turn up and have a go. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
