An outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s As You Like It will help mark the 40th anniversary of the Lichfield Festival.
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men will bring their production to the Lichfield Cathedral on 11th July.
A spokesperson said:
“One of the UK’s finest touring theatre companies present this great play as Shakespeare first saw it performed – in the open air, by an all-male cast and with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.
“Bring a chair, cushions or a blanket, plus a picnic, and prepare to be entertained and transported in this special outdoor event at Lichfield Cathedral.”
