The owner of a Lichfield business that has ceased trading has thanked customers for their support.
The Flamingo Tea Room closed at the end of September, almost a year to the day it first opened on Tamworth Street.
When the business opened in 2011, owners Alan and Sue Garwood said they hoped to establish the venue as a “community hub”.
But despite hosting music events and photography exhibitions at the venue, the business has now shut its doors for the final time.
“A cogent set of business reasons lie behind the decision,” said Alan. “On behalf of Sue and myself I wish to express thanks to staff and customers for their support.”
