The 2015 Lichfield Festival kicks off today with a packed programme of performances over the next 10 days.

Venues across the city will play host to music, exhibitions, talks, theatre and dance.
The Festival kicks off with a parade featuring model elephants decorated by local organisations.
The parade will begin at Lichfield Guildhall at 3.15pm, before heading around Market Square, up Dam Street and along Cathedral Close.
Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flude, will be performed in Lichfield Cathedral at 7.30pm, while time-travelling Victorian magic duo Morgan and West bring their unique show to the Garrick at 6pm.
