A NEW bus shelter has been installed for local passengers.
The wooden structure near the junction of Lichfield Road, Farewell Lane and Stockhay Lane has been funded by Hammerwich Parish Council.
It was installed by local firm GE Collis and Sons.
A spokesperson for the parish council said:
“Not only are we supporting our parishioners, but we want to link in with the LinkUp on-demand bus service provided by Lichfield District Council which connects rural villages to local retail centres.”
