Broadcaster Paul Gambaccini has been forced to cancel his one-man show at the Lichfield Guildhall.
The DJ was due to stop off in the city on May 4 as part of a 21-date nationwide tour.
But An Evening with The Great Gambo – The Professor of Pop show has now been axed after the star was diagnosed with shingles.
A spokesperson for the Garrick said: “This event has been cancelled due to illness. We are in the process of contacting all existing ticket holders.”
