LOCAL residents are being invited to join a Christmas service at a Lichfield care home as part of its efforts to spread festive kindness.
Stowe Mount, on Scotch Orchard, will host the event at 10am on Thursday (11th December).
It will feature hymns, carols, festive refreshments and poetry readings from local schoolchildren.
The event is part of Christmas celebrations at the home which have also seen residents carrying out random acts of kindness.
Resident Rae Fry recently accompanied staff to deliver selection boxes to Scotch Orchard Primary School’s PTA fundraisers.
The 78-year-old said:
“Always be kind to people – you never know what they’ve been through in their lifetime.”
