A new 3G sports pitch has been officially unveiled in Burntwood.
Players from Burntwood Dragons and Phoenix FC joined the chairman of Lichfield District Council at Burntwood Leisure Centre to try out the new surface.
The old pitch was ripped up in November after becoming damaged, with the new surface complying to FIFA standards.
Councillor David Salter, Chairman of Lichfield District Council, said: “It was a pleasure to formally open this new and improved facility, and it’s fantastic that we are able to offer such a high quality pitch to Burntwood footballers.”
