POLICE are trying to trace four men who are believed to be involved in an attempt to steal a motorbike in Lichfield.
The group tried to take one from a car park near the Premier Inn hotel at The Friary at around 1pm on 29th May.
They were riding two motorbikes and wear dressed all in black with high-vis jackets on.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“They were seen with bolt croppers and left the scene when disturbed.
“At a similar time a motorbike was also stolen from Tesco Extra. This bike was soon recovered in the area, but with no offenders present.”
