PEOPLE have been thanked for helping to rescue a horse on the loose.
The incident happened on 9th January when the animal, called Alice, managed to get onto local roads.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“Alice was trying to ‘stirrup’ trouble by causing traffic chaos.
“But officers were assisted by thoughtful motorists who were able to help rein her in and get her back to safety.
“A big thanks to everyone who stopped and helped.”
