A NEW programme of community learning courses is launching.

Delivered by Staffordshire County Council’s community learning service, the new programme offers adults aged 19 and over the chance to learn new skills, build confidence and improve wellbeing.

The latest courses cover subjects including digital skills, English, maths, family learning, creativity and practical life skills.

Courses are delivered both online and in person at community venues across the county.

Cllr Robin Hall, Staffordshire County Council’s cabinet member for economy and skills, said:

“Community learning is about more than courses, it’s about giving people the confidence, skills and opportunities to move forward.

“This programme is designed to be accessible and practical, whether someone is looking to improve their job prospects, build digital skills, or simply take that first step back into learning.

“We want to make sure that opportunity is there for everyone, in every part of Staffordshire.”
