Community project organisers in the Lichfield area are being invited to apply for a slice of the proceeds from this year’s production by Shakespeare in the Park.
Each year the company shares some of its profits with local organisations and many have benefitted from their generosity over the years.
Interested parties are now being invited to apply for a donation from SITP’s memorable 2011 production, The Merry Wives of Windsor.
The company is looking for applications from local charities planning project-based activities, perhaps involving the community.
Donations will be distributed before the matinee performance of the company’s next production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which opens on June 20, 2012 at Maple Hayes.
