RESIDENTS in Streethay are being warned of increased noise over the next five months as part of ongoing HS2 works.
Contractors will be carrying out piling works to construct the new Rykneld Street Overbridge for five months from 26th January.
A spokesperson said:
“Impactful activities that may generate more noise will take place during core working hours from 8am to 6pm.
“We anticipate less impactful activities will continue from 6pm onwards until midnight to minimise disruption to the local community.”
