The Illuminated Arboretum first took place in 2018 and features light and sound displays to bathe the site in colour.

The mile-long route includes floating speech bubbles, a web of colourful threads and artistic installations.

Sarah Oakden, head of marketing at the National Memorial Arboretum, said: “This mesmerising experience returns to the arboretum following popular demand, featuring an incredible new selection of light installations, including several with interactive elements.

“Visitors of all ages will be excited by the multi-sensory displays as they discover the wonder of the Arboretum at night.”

Illuminated Arboretum runs from 11th to 20th December. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 01283 245 100.
