Rising folk stars The Young’uns are coming to the Lichfield Guildhall.
The Teeside trio – Sean Cooney, David Eagle and Michael Hughes – have been making waves on the UK scene with their arrangements of close harmony songs.
They will be hoping to repeat their success of 2011 this year after they recorded a song for Aardman Animations’ film The Itch of the Golden Nit and played at festivals across the country.
Lichfield Arts Director Chris Newcombe said: “These boys are really making waves on the folk scene and we are delighted to have them at the Guildhall.”.
Tickets for their February 18 show are priced at £12 adults, £11 concessions, £10 members and £6 students and can either be purchased on the door or in advance from Lichfield Arts Box Office, Donegal House, Bore Street, Lichfield, WS13 6LU.
