Barton United’s run of poor form continued with a 2-1 defeat at Moors Academy.
A goal from George Stack was all the Black Swans had to show for their efforts in the Challenge Vase.
The result means Barton have now lost five games on the bounce in all competitions.
Their search for a win will not get any easier next Saturday (November 19) when they entertain high-flying Montpellier in the Midland Football League Division Three.
