A field of 1,500 runners are set to take to the streets of the city for the third Lichfield Half Marathon.
The event gets underway at 10.30am on Sunday (May 5) with the field tackling the 13.1 mile route out to Whittington and Fradley before heading back to the city centre.
Kevin Wilson, from organisers KP Events, said: “Last year we had hundreds of spectators lining the route in and out of Lichfield and a brilliant atmosphere and we are confident 2013 will be even better.
