Young people are being given the chance to get out on the water with a sailing session at Chasewater.
The Royal Yachting Association’s Start Sailing programme allows under 18s to learn the basic skills of the support, with all equipment provided.
The sessions take place on July 6 and 7 and cost £65 with two follow on sessions included.
“You will soon be sailing on your own, as sessions include starting, stopping and turning, launching and recovering, rigging and safety,” a spokesperson said.
“Sailing has everything – whether you want to get involved in a cool, sociable sport, which can be enjoyed by mums and dads too, or really ramp up the adrenaline by eventually getting into racing and attempting to become the next Ben Ainslie!
