The band who helped bring sea shanties back to the mainstream will be visiting the city as part of a performance at The Lichfield Festival.
The Longest Johns will be at Lichfield Cathedral on 14th July.
Their hit Wellerman took the charts and social media by storm and led to the four friends from Bristol swapping folk clubs in pubs to festival stages across the country.
Now signed to Decca Records, the band’s fourth album – Smoke and Oakum – was released in January.
