Chris Whitehouse has admitted Shenstone Pathfinder FC’s defeat at AFC Smethwick has left him scratching his head.
The Pathfinder boss saw his side crumble in a 2-0 defeat which ended in further misery as Jimmy Daniels saw red in the dying moments.
But despite having a number of first team players unavailable, Whitehouse refused to make excuses for Shenstone’s defeat.
He said:
“We seem to be very Jekyll and Hyde at the moment. We have had two excellent performance and two poor ones. Smethwick was poor even considering the amount of players we had missing and we got exactly what we deserved.”
The Shenstone boss will be hoping for an improvement when his side entertain Penncroft on Saturday (September 3), kick-off 3pm.
