The show had to go on despite the lights going out at a concert in Lichfield.
The Lichfield Lighthouse Company were midway through their set at the Guildhall when a power cut struck following a fire at an electrical substation in the city.
But as emergency lighting kicked in, the songs kept coming.
Lichfield Arts president Brian Pretty said: “They carried on with their shanties regardless – they deserve an award for their efforts!”
